Books are the beginning of any education. What would your education been like without books?
LIBRARIES
A library consists of books collected, sorted and boxed for shipment to Africa, bookshelves and tables and chairs.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Basic school supplies, pencils, erasers, paper, rulers, chalk, exercise books are given to each student at the school which has a BATB library
EDUCATION
Many Ugandan teachers don’t have the proper training and certification. Scholarships allow a teacher to advance their education.
HOME LIBRARIES
Books are given multiple times a school year to students in low-income schools in the U.S. For many children, these are only books in their home.
